Mission Statement
The purpose of Sioux Falls Protestant Reformed Christian School is to provide primary education to those children whose parents share a commitment of the Reformed traditions in a school system.
- The Bible is the infallibly inspired, written Word of God, interpreted according to the Three Forms of Unity, namely the Belgic or Netherlands Confession, the Canons of Dordt, and the Heidelberg Catechism, and as such forms the basis for administration, instruction, and discipline in the school.
- Our Sovereign, Triune, Covenant God has from eternity chosen and in time forms a people unto Himself, that they may stand in covenant relationship to Him, and live to His praise in friendship and loving service in all spheres of life, in the midst of a sinful world.
- The training of the covenant children in the school as well as in the home and in the church must serve to prepare them to follow their lifelong calling to reveal the glory of their God in a life lived from the principle of regeneration by grace.

I grew up in Doon, Iowa, where I attended Northwest Iowa Protestant Reformed (NWIPR) School for my elementary years and Western Christian High School (Hull, Iowa) after that. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree for elementary and middle school education from Dordt College in 2007. That year I began teaching at Inwood Christian School in Inwood, Iowa. In 2008 I married Jeff Te Slaa, and in 2009 I began teaching at NWIPR School in Doon. In 2021 I completed my master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Sioux Falls. I have been teaching the upper grades at Sioux Falls PRCS since the school opened its doors in 2021.

I received a bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education from Dordt College in 2017. I then taught at Adams Christian School in Wyoming, Michigan, for 4 years in 5th grade. I started teaching K-1st here in Sioux Falls and have since added 2nd and now 3rd grade to my classroom. I appreciate getting to teach the different grade levels as I’ve learned how the curriculum builds on itself from grade to grade.

I grew up in Doon, Iowa and went to the NW Iowa Protestant Reformed School and Hull Western Christian High School. I moved to Sioux Falls after I got married. I taught at Sioux Falls Christian School as a kindergarten aide for 29 years. I then taught at the Sioux Fall Protestant Reformed School as a kindergarten aide for 1 year. The following year I began teaching the kindergarten class. It is a blessing to see the growth, excitement and development in our covenant youth at this age.
Emily Camarigg
I was born in Sioux Falls but was raised near Struble, Iowa. I grew up traveling between Struble and Hull, IA for church and school. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Dordt University in 2013. For eight years, I worked as a Physical Therapy Aide in area hospitals. In 2020, I transitioned to work at Hull Protestant Reformed Christian School as a Kindergarten Aide. My work there was more rewarding than I have words to express! After three short years, I returned to Sioux Falls and took up the Teachers’ Aide position here at Sioux Falls PRCS working alongside children of all ages.
